01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Keeping the rolls together, horizontally slice the entire block in half to create a bottom and top layer.
03 - Arrange the bottom half of the rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Evenly layer sliced cheddar cheese over the rolls. Add ham or turkey if using.
04 - Position the top half of the rolls over the fillings to close the sandwiches.
05 - If desired, blend melted butter with mustard, honey, and garlic powder. Use a pastry brush to coat the tops of the rolls with this mixture.
06 - Transfer to the oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
07 - Allow to cool for 2 minutes. Slice into individual mini sandwiches and serve warm.
