11 - ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F or air fryer to 375°F, ensuring proper temperature for crisping.
02 - Lay flour tortillas flat on clean surface. Spread 2-3 tablespoons pizza sauce in center of each tortilla, leaving 1-inch border around edges for proper folding.
03 - Distribute mozzarella evenly among tortillas. Top with pepperoni or mushrooms, bell peppers, black olives, red onion. Sprinkle with oregano and garlic powder.
04 - Fold left and right edges toward center. Roll tortilla from bottom upward, tucking edges tightly to create secure burrito seal.
05 - Lightly brush or spray outside of each burrito with olive oil. This promotes even browning and crispy texture during cooking.
06 - Place burritos seam-side down on parchment-lined baking sheet for oven method, or arrange in single layer in air fryer basket without overcrowding.
07 - Oven method: Bake 18-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Air fryer method: Cook 8-10 minutes, flip halfway through, until exterior is browned and filling is heated through.
08 - Remove from heat. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan and fresh basil if desired. Let rest 2 minutes before serving to allow filling to set.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Its faster than delivery and infinitely customizable for picky eaters
  • The tortilla gets perfectly crispy while the cheese stays molten inside
  • You can keep all the ingredients in your pantry for emergency dinner situations
02 -
  • Overfilling these is tempting but they will burst open, so resist the urge to stuff them like tacos
  • Let them rest for at least 3 minutes after cooking or the cheese will burn your mouth and the filling will slide out
03 -
  • Warm your tortillas in the microwave for 20 seconds before filling, and they will fold without cracking
  • Freeze uncooked burritos individually wrapped in parchment for up to 3 months, then cook from frozen adding 5 minutes
